Uprightdown is open-source storytelling. It is a place where artists of all kinds come together to imagine new narrative possibilities.
In our first issue we provided a single, simple plot and asked EVERYONE to tell it in his or her own medium, to turn this plot into a poem, or a story, or a play, or an animation, or a video, or a video game, or anything at all.
This time we are opening the plot itself to exploitation and development. We are letting you take the plot and run with it, and together, over the course of one year, we will create a 26-episode epic.
The game has become more involved, and funner. We now have two separate groups, each working on a different aspect of the story: there are plotters, and there are performers. Plotters invent the plot; performers execute it, give it flesh. Click here to learn more and to join in.
